POST GRADUATE STUDIES

Hello, at this moment I will talk about the projections in my studies. At the moment I don't have plans to do a post graduate course, since I don't find it necessary at the moment, besides I don't have much intention of spending so much money on it. Even so, I would like to be able to do a post graduate course, just for want to know more about some very interesting aspects of forest engineering and to be able to develop better in the working environment. Some of the subjects I would like to specialize in in a post graduate course would be related to statistics, hydrology, geomatics, among others. If I could do a post graduate course, I would like it to be in Chile and in the city where I am living and working, since for me, the family is the first and I wouldn't like to get away from it for study reasons, and I don't have plans to go live outside Chile. And finally, I would like that it to be in a week schedule that allows me work as well as study.  As I mentioned b...

My future job

For the future, and hopefully in a near future, I would like to be working as a forest engineer. I am not sure which is my preferred area of work, but I know that I am between the area of GIS and remote sensing, and the area of environmental impact assessment.  Even though the work of a forest engineer is usually outdoors, I prefer a job where I don't need to be away from my home for a long time, mostly like an office work, and where I can working from my computer, using software and data analysis tools, etc. Although those are my preferences, they could be a little modified according to the salaries that I can choose in each job. As I mentioned at the beginning, the first thing I have to do is sort out my likes and preferences related to my future career and work, since what I'm going to specialize in these last semesters of my career, will influence what I want to do later on. Finally, I would like to mention that finally my objective, and I imagine that of any person, is wo...

CAREER RELATED TOPIC

Hello again, this time I will write about my career, Forestry Engineering.  The truth is that since I was a child I never projected me in my studies, on the contrary, it was not something very pleasant for me, nor did a job I dreamed, so I was quite indecisive about what to do with my life, and as I did not know what to work on, nor did I want to end up in a job where I worked a lot for little money, I took the choice to study. The problem now is what career to study. I knew that the social sciences, health and economics were not for me, and think in a lot of math scared me more than I was attracted to any civil engineering, so I chose something related to the environment and nature.  Sincerely, I liked the Agronomy career better, but just at that time I met some agronomists who told me that there was little work, so I decided to study Forestry Engineering as a first option, and then Agronomy. Another important decision was in which university to study, I was between the Unive...

Hi, the truth is that i don't like watch movies much, nor i do know much about them, or about directors, genres or actors, i preferer watch series or anime, is for that what i don't have a favorite movie, but i did have when i was child, and it's name "Drunken Master", by Jackie chan. The movie is about a young martial arts student who for correctional reasons had to train with the best kung fu master, but whose teaching was extremely strict. And he was the one who taught him the techniques of the 8 drunken gods, which nobody had been capable of winning. I remember when one day my father brought that movie to home, because he likes the arts marcial movies, and we liked very much with my brother, that we watched it around of fifty times, we never bored to see it.  i also liked that after watch it, with my brother we thought we were kung fu fighters, and fighted as drunk. Those were good times, we funed and played a lot with my brother, even though many times we en...
