My future job

For the future, and hopefully in a near future, I would like to be working as a forest engineer. I am not sure which is my preferred area of work, but I know that I am between the area of GIS and remote sensing, and the area of environmental impact assessment. 

Even though the work of a forest engineer is usually outdoors, I prefer a job where I don't need to be away from my home for a long time, mostly like an office work, and where I can working from my computer, using software and data analysis tools, etc. Although those are my preferences, they could be a little modified according to the salaries that I can choose in each job.

As I mentioned at the beginning, the first thing I have to do is sort out my likes and preferences related to my future career and work, since what I'm going to specialize in these last semesters of my career, will influence what I want to do later on.

Finally, I would like to mention that finally my objective, and I imagine that of any person, is work in what I like, and earn sufficient money for that. Is for that I would accept other job than forestry engineer, as long as it meets my objetive.
